About Mood
Soft squares of pink, teal, lemon, lilac and sky blue are dragged over a pale grey ground with a palette knife, overlapping like sun-faded posters, with white pulled through them so the colours never turn heavy. The strokes leave ridges you can see from across the room, and the whole surface has the lightness of watercolour with the body of oil paint.
