About Crimson Orbit
A square canvas split between a scraped white and warm grey field and a deep red band along the lower third. In the upper right a large red disc curves out of the corner, edged with a black arc and thin red drips that trail down the pale area. At the centre sits a coiled ring of black and red line work wrapping an oval of raked silver, painted thickly enough to catch the light. Loose red strokes sweep across the red band below, with two small silver rectangles floating at right.
The character is graphic and deliberate: two circular forms, one large and one small, anchoring a restrained palette of red, black and silver.
Works in rooms with a clean, modern fit-out: a white or charcoal lounge wall, a dining room above a dark timber sideboard, or an office reception. Pairs with black leather, chrome or brushed steel, and grey rugs. A single red cushion or vase picks up the crimson band without crowding the wall.
