About Bronze Seals
A horizontal gold band runs across the middle of a deep oxblood red field, carrying three raised discs edged with twisted rope-like relief. The largest sits at centre with a white looping mark inside it; the two smaller discs flank it, each holding a similar scribbled glyph. Above and below the band, white paint has been trailed and flicked in loose linear tangles that break the rectangle's edges. The red ground is built up thickly, scraped and combed so the texture catches light, with patches of near-black and a cool blue-grey bruise at the left edge.
The character is dense and talismanic, closer to a weathered seal or plaque than a picture. Warm metallic gold against dark red gives it weight, while the white scrawl keeps it restless.
Suits a lounge room or dining wall with dark timber, leather or exposed brick, where the oxblood red and gold can sit against warm neutrals. Works over a sideboard or bedhead, and pairs with brass lamps, rust or cream cushions and plain linen. Keep surrounding walls uncluttered so the raised medallions read clearly.
