About Choose Life
A square field of chalky pale grey fills the frame, mottled with off-white patches and faint horizontal streaks that read like a scraped or whitewashed wall. The four edges darken to a soft charcoal-grey border, heaviest in the corners, where the surface looks rubbed back and worn. Set low and to the right, two lines of black type read "choose" in lower case and "LIFE." in larger capitals, with a full stop. The letters are a typewriter serif, slightly broken and speckled as if struck through an old ribbon.
The character here is quiet and matter-of-fact: a short instruction on a weathered grey ground, with all the interest in the texture and the uneven ink of the letterforms. Nothing is centred or decorative, which keeps it feeling more like a found sign than a poster.
Suits a hallway, home office or bedroom wall where a short line of text works better than imagery. The soft grey ground sits easily with white or limewashed walls, black metal frames, linen bedding and pale timber.
