A black and white photograph of the ocean pouring into a round hollow in dark rock. Water spills down the sides of the basin in long, smooth streaks, while foam swirls around the rim and across the foreground. Dark, jagged rocks frame the left and right, with a few smaller boulders scattered in the churning water.
Above a flat, distant horizon, a heavy band of storm cloud fills the top third of the square frame. A single break in the cloud sends beams of light down towards the sea, brightening the pale clouds along the horizon. The long exposure turns the waves to silky mist, set against rough, dark stone.
