An abstract landscape split into broad horizontal bands. The lower half is a field of vertical strokes, deep crimson and coral at the bottom, with pale scratches running through the paint like blades of grass. Above it, a band of soft yellow and ochre sits like a ripening crop.
A narrow dark horizon line holds flecks of teal, orange and charcoal, with one small tuft of dry grass rising from the left of centre. The upper half is a hazy sky of white and cool grey, brushed thin and streaky. The look is layered, textured and painterly, with a warm foreground against a quiet, muted sky.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
