A black and white night photograph looks along the deck of the Millennium Bridge in London toward the dome of St Paul's Cathedral. The bridge's dark walkway runs from the bottom edge to the centre, narrowing to a vanishing point at the cathedral steps, with the lit dome and lantern rising above.
Strips of white light run along both edges of the deck and pick out the curved steel ribs of the balustrades. Behind the dome, pale beams spread through the dark sky, while heavy clouds fill the upper third. A smaller spire sits to the left and lit office towers stand to the right. The tones run from deep black to bright white.
