A wide seascape in a painterly style. Teal and turquoise water fills the middle of the frame, with a long white wave curling from the lower left towards the rocks on the right. Smaller swells with pale foam lines run back towards a flat, clear horizon.
The sky shifts from soft blue at the top to peach and pale yellow near the horizon, with streaks of purple-grey cloud stretched across it. A dark headland rises on the right, and jagged brown-black rocks frame the right edge and the bottom of the scene, giving the bright water a firm border.
