Heavy purple-grey cloud fills the top of the frame, broken by glowing orange and pink light near the horizon and a patch of pale blue sky on the right. A low, dark headland sits in the distance on the left, with a patch of green scrub at the corner. The sea is slate blue with white foam streaks, giving a calm and moody finish.
