A daytime photograph looks up a narrow Paris street to the Eiffel Tower, its dark iron lattice rising from the lower right to the pointed tip near the top centre. The tower is framed by buildings on both sides, so it appears to sit at the end of the street.
On the left, a cream stone apartment block runs up the frame with wrought iron balconies, tall chimney pots and a curved glass facade at the edge. On the right, a pale building carries shutters and a street lamp. Green trees fill the bottom corner, and white clouds drift across a bright blue sky.
