A square strip of film fills the picture, with six rounded sperforations down each side in pale cream against a near-black border. In the centre sits a large frame in sepia and grey, split into quarters by a thin black crosshair. A bold black number 2 sits in the middle of it.
Two thin white circles wrap around the numeral, slightly offset from one another, like the sweep marks on an old reel leader. The surface looks cracked and peeling, with streaks of tan, cream and brown. Fine white scratches cross the dark edges, and a pale wedge cuts into the top left corner of the frame.
