About Fruit Contour Apple
A single apple sits in the centre of a clean white field, drawn with one loose black contour that doubles back on itself so the outline reads twice along the left and lower edges. The fruit is squared off rather than round, with a soft dip at the base and a short stem rising to a pointed leaf that tilts to the right. Inside, a vertical stroke marks the core, flanked by two small seed shapes and a single dot.
The line varies in weight, thinning where the stroke lifts and thickening at the turns, so the drawing keeps the feel of a quick pen sketch. It is spare, calm and slightly imperfect, more gesture than botanical study.
Made for kitchens, breakfast nooks and dining walls, particularly above a sideboard or beside open shelving. It suits Scandi and monochrome interiors, pale timber, white tiles and black tapware. Hang it as a pair with another line-drawn fruit print, or in a run of three above a bench for a simple gallery wall.
