About Geometrical Rainbow

The whole surface is broken into hundreds of flat triangles, fitted together like shattered glass or a faceted gemstone. A pale centre of cream, white and soft lilac forms the brightest point, and the colour deepens outwards: cornflower and navy blues across the top right, burgundy and crimson wedges low in the middle, burnt orange, ochre and gold along the left edge, with olive and grey-green facets scattered between. Each triangle carries a slight gradient, so edges catch light while neighbouring planes fall into shadow.

The finish is smooth and graphic rather than textured, the interest coming entirely from how the angled planes shift tone against one another. Its character is bright and modern, geometric order holding a wide spread of colour together.

Works in a contemporary lounge, home office or teenager's bedroom, and holds its own above a low sideboard or a sofa in a plain white or pale grey room. It picks up navy cushions, rust throws and brass or gold fittings, and suits glass, chrome and light timber furniture. Strong enough to hang alone.
