A cluster of ginkgo leaves fans out across a pale grey background, climbing from a thin brown branch at the lower right up to a small pale leaf near the top. Each leaf is a broad, ribbed fan with a gently scalloped edge, and several overlap one another, so the group reads as layered and slightly three-dimensional.
The colours move from warm to cool. Two large leaves near the top are saffron and honey yellow, the centre holds a bold teal-blue fan, and the lower leaves turn olive and moss green with touches of amber. The background shows long, diagonal brush streaks in off-white and grey, and soft shadows sit beside each leaf, lifting them off the surface.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
