A grove of tall birch trees fills this portrait scene, their canopies built from loose dabs of orange, amber and soft yellow. White trunks with dark markings rise from the lower half and disappear into the leaves. On the right, a taller stand of trees turns coral red and rust, framing a narrow gap of pale blue sky at the top.
A grassy path runs up the centre in layers of ochre and olive green, leading toward a pale, hazy shape in the distance. A rounded green shrub sits at the lower right, with a few thin branches crossing it. The surface has visible brushy texture and scraped, scumbled patches, so the whole scene reads as a contemporary painterly work rather than a photograph.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
