A surreal interior built from cracked, plaster-like walls in sand and cream, set open to a bright blue sky with soft white clouds. A black greyhound stands in profile against a green-teal block wall. Nearby, a framed sketch of a twin-engine plane hangs above it, with small red postage stamps pinned to the wall beyond.
A red-capped arched doorway frames a distant view of purple-blue mountains, flat farmland and thin trees. Wooden steps rise on the left, and a lone carved chair with a red seat sits on striped floorboards. Black and white chequered edges trim the raised platform. The finish is a textured, painterly surrealist work in warm ochre, brown and sky blue.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
