Rowing dinghies fill the square, seen from above and packed tightly against each other. The central boat is yellow outside with an orange rim, and a long teal oar lies across its deep red and purple seats. Other hulls in purple, lime green, teal and orange crowd in around it.
Dark navy and green water sits behind the boats, marked with small flat ripples in teal. An orange timber jetty cuts across the bottom right corner. The colour is applied in broad, flat blocks with bold outlines, so the scene reads as a bright, graphic painting rather than a realistic view.
