About Pink Blossom Tree
A slender black trunk curves up from the lower centre of the canvas and bends to the left, splitting into thin grey branches that carry hundreds of small magenta blossoms. The canopy leans heavily to the left, and loose petals trail down towards the lower left corner as if drifting in a breeze. Behind the tree the background is laid in blocky palette-knife strokes: bright grass green across the lower two thirds, lifting to turquoise and pale aqua along the top edge and upper corners.
