About Four Seasons Blossom Tree
A single tree spreads across four vertical colour bands, each panel a different season. The left band is green with a cloud of white and pink petals; next, a yellow field carries dense scarlet blossom; the third is warm ochre and brown with golden-yellow flowers; the right band is deep blue with white blossom drifting to the edge. Fine dark lines radiate from a low central point to form the trunk and branches, fanning upward through the canopy like a burst of thin twigs.
Every flower is a separate dab of thick paint laid with a knife, sitting proud of the surface so the canopy casts small shadows. Backgrounds are dragged in broad horizontal strokes with visible ridges. The character is bright and decorative, built on strong colour blocking rather than realism.
Built for a wide wall above a sofa, sideboard or bedhead in a living room or open-plan dining space. The four colour bands pick up green, red, gold and blue cushions or rugs, so it works over neutral grey, white or timber walls. Good in a child's room or a bright hallway.
