A large white murex shell fills the centre of a blue panel, its spines and frilled ridges angled upward and its long tail pointing to the lower left. The title "Lace Murex" is written in orange-brown lettering at the top left, with "Lace" in a small script and "Murex" in capitals.
The shell sits over a hazy blue sky and a flat, pale strip of sand and water. Branching red-brown coral spreads across the bottom of the panel into a sandy lower border. A tall cream column on the right carries faint spiral motifs, and a small nautilus shell sits in a square at the lower right corner.
