A portrait photograph of the Eiffel Tower standing on the left, slightly soft and out of focus, its iron lattice glowing faintly amber near the upper platform. Beside it a green copper spire rises from the rooftops, and a band of dark green trees runs along the bottom edge.
In the sharp foreground on the right, an ornate bronze lamp post carries five frosted glass globes on curling arms. Cherub figures cling to its base at the lower right. Heavy grey clouds break into pale cream and gold light, giving the whole scene a muted, hazy dusk tone.
