About Lela's Love
A pale horse fills most of the frame, head turned towards the lower right so one dark eye, the long nose and the soft muzzle catch the light. The mane lifts and streams back across the top left corner in loose, wind-blown strands, each hair picked out against a softly blurred background of brown scrub and branches. The whole photograph is toned in warm sepia, from near-white along the neck and cheek to deep chocolate in the nostrils, eye and shadowed jawline. Small ears point forward and alert.
The mood is quiet and close, less an action shot than a calm portrait of a single animal caught mid-turn. Soft focus behind the horse keeps all attention on the face and the movement of the mane.
Suits a living room, hallway or home office with timber, leather or linen furniture, and works well in beach house and country-style rooms.
