About Lemon Wall Art Print
A single lemon fills the centre of a square black field, lit so the fruit glows and the background drops away to near-total darkness. The skin is built from fine vertical hatching in yellow, ochre and warm amber, with a soft halo of orange around the lower edge where the light falls off. Two dark green leaves lie across the top, their veins drawn in lighter green strokes, and a short stem hooks down at the right shoulder of the fruit. Edges stay slightly blurred rather than sharp.
The character is quiet and concentrated: one piece of fruit, no table, no props, all attention on colour against black. It reads as a study in glow and texture rather than a straightforward food picture.
Works in kitchens and dining rooms, particularly above a sideboard or bench where the yellow lifts a dark or timber-heavy scheme.
