Rolling hills fill the middle of this square acrylic-style artwork, built from broad bands of lilac, violet, bright yellow and burnt orange. Thin black contour lines trace the ridges, and a faint fence line runs along one yellow slope. Above them a streaky turquoise and white sky sits behind the purple ridge.
The foreground is a busy meadow of ring-shaped flowers in red, deep blue and white, set on stalks among dots, dashes and flecks of teal and orange. Black spiky grasses and fern-like fronds crowd the bottom corners. The paint looks thick and textured with visible brushstrokes, and the colour is flat, bright and decorative rather than realistic.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
