Eighteen small tugboats float in loose rows across a streaky, mid-blue background that shifts between sky blue and soft lavender. Each boat is outlined in thick black line with a wobbly, childlike hand. Hulls are filled in flat colour: purple, teal, yellow, red, orange and grey, with stripes running along the sides.
Round black portholes and square cabin windows dot the boats, and each has a chunky funnel in a different stripe of orange, green, pink or blue. A few thin curls of black smoke rise from the stacks. The paint looks brushy and uneven, with white edges left around some hulls and a signature at the lower right.

My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
