About Full Throttle Lean
A superbike and rider are shown from the front three-quarter angle, heeled hard into a corner so the rear tyre fills the lower right of the canvas. The fairing and leathers are broken into flat slabs of magenta, orange, lemon, green and white, applied thickly enough to catch the light, while the wheel, swingarm and front fairing stay in smoky greys and blacks. The helmet carries a red, white and blue design with a dark visor, and the rider's gloved hand reaches forward over the bars.
The background is left as bare brushed grey, with a soft shadow beneath the bike so the machine appears to float. It reads as speed and colour rather than a portrait of a specific rider or circuit.
Suits a games room, home bar, garage office or teenager's bedroom, and works in a hallway where the portrait shape fits a narrow wall. The grey background sits well against white, charcoal or concrete-look walls, and pairs with black metal shelving, leather seating and other motorsport or pop art prints.
