About Magical Forest I
A row of tall, very slender tree trunks stands across the square composition, each one dark brown and almost black where it meets the base. The trunks fork into thin bare branches near the top, carrying loose clusters of small olive and rust leaves that sit mostly along the upper edge. Behind them the background glows in bands of amber, apricot and burnt orange, broken by patches of pale aqua and soft teal. Horizontal scratches, faded scrollwork patterns and mottled colour give the surface a worn, layered look.
The character is warm and quiet, more mood than detail: a stylised grove caught in late light, with the dark vertical lines of the trunks holding a busy, weathered field of orange and blue-green together.
The square format suits a living room chimney breast, a wide hallway or the wall above a sideboard in a dining room. The amber and teal mix works with timber furniture, rattan, terracotta pots and linen in cream or rust. Good in a bedroom above the bed head, or in a home office needing warmth.
