About Magical Friends I
A cream and blush unicorn stands in profile at the centre of a white square, head turned to the left. Its mane and tail are painted in soft pink and lavender washes, and a pale blue spiral horn rises from its forehead above a closed, smiling eye. Behind it arcs a rainbow in coral, peach, yellow, mint and aqua, resting on two puffy lilac and violet clouds. Scattered gold stars and tiny pink, mint and lilac hearts fill the white space around the figure.
The watercolour washes are visible throughout, with pigment pooling darker at the edges of the clouds and along the unicorn's legs and back. Metallic-look gold stars give small points of contrast against the pale palette. A small signature sits in the lower right corner. The overall character is gentle and playful rather than bright, a quiet nursery image built from pastel colour and plenty of white breathing room.
Made for a nursery, toddler bedroom or playroom, especially above a cot, change table or reading corner. It suits white or pale grey walls, blush and lilac bedding, rattan baskets and light timber furniture.
