About Weathered Grey World Map
The continents of the world spread edge to edge across a pale grey ground that looks like scraped plaster or bare concrete. The Americas sit to the left, Africa and Europe through the centre, Asia and Australia to the right, each landmass filled with mottled slate blue that fades to grey where the surface appears worn away. Coastlines are irregular rather than cartographic, softened as though the outline has been rubbed back. Vertical streaks and chalky white drag marks run down the background, heaviest along the lower third.
Nothing is labelled and no borders are drawn, so the map reads as a piece of surface texture rather than a reference chart. Its character is quiet and industrial, with the blue lifting an otherwise neutral, weathered wall.
Suits a home office above a desk, a study wall beside timber shelving, or a living room with concrete-look floors and linen upholstery.
