About Marine Dolphin Pop Art
A bottlenose dolphin rises head-first through the frame, drawn in heavy black outline and filled with a patchwork of magenta, lemon yellow, mint green, lilac and hot pink. Circles, spirals, dots, stars and small floral motifs run across the head and jaw like graffiti stencil work. The background is flat aqua blue with sprayed white streaks in the upper left corner, soft bubble rings and faint pale scribbles. The dolphin's eye is a small dark almond ringed with green and yellow.
Curving around the head in black hand-lettered capitals is the line "You only live once, but if you do it right once is enough", following the contour of the dolphin's back and snout. The mood is bright and cheerful, with the loose, layered look of a spray-paint and marker piece rather than a realistic marine study.
Bright enough for a beach house hallway, a kid's or teen's bedroom, or a home office wall that needs a lift. It works against white or pale grey walls and sits well with rattan, light timber and coastal blue textiles. Pair it with other animal pop art prints or keep it as a single statement.
