Your canvas is stretched on a timber frame with the hanging wire already attached. Clean, frameless gallery look.
Floating frame
The stretched canvas sits inside a slim timber frame in white, black, natural or silver, with a small shadow gap around the edge. Delivered framed and ready to hang.

About Grampia Vintage Microphone
A single vintage ball microphone fills the upper two thirds of a portrait frame, isolated against a flat black background. The rounded body is a worn cream-gold metal, chipped and scuffed along the top edge, with three short scored lines cut into the left side. At its centre a circular chrome grille carries horizontal slats and the name GRAMPIAN stencilled across them in bold capitals, the dark mesh visible behind. Light falls from the upper left, throwing a soft shadow under the curve.
Below the head, a nickel-plated yoke and knurled screw clamp the microphone to a slim chrome stand that runs down and out of frame, showing rust flecks and a dull collar. The photograph is sharp enough to read every dent and fleck of tarnish, and the black surround removes all context so the object reads as sculpture. Its character is quiet and nostalgic: one well-used piece of broadcast equipment, treated with the stillness of a portrait.
Suits a home office, music room or record corner, and works in a hallway where a tall narrow wall needs one clear image. The black ground sits well against white, charcoal or timber-panelled walls, and pairs with brass lamps, leather seating, guitars on wall mounts and other framed black-and-white photographs.
