Her white ruffled petticoats froth out around her, shaded in lilac and pink, over a deep maroon skirt. Her eyes are closed and she smiles. A blue ribbon at top left reads "Paris", with Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower drawn small beside it.
Large red capitals with gold outlines and a decorative inner pattern spell "MOULIN ROUGE" across the lower left, stacked on two lines. A black and gold street lamp and a couple in conversation fill the left edge. At lower right a second woman in a feathered pink hat and long black gloves stands by a curved gold stair rail. A round palette badge in the corner reads "spectacle tout en couleurs". The cream background and soft illustrated style suggest a mid-century film poster.
