About New York Skyline Blue
A long horizontal panel shows a city skyline sitting low across the centre, viewed from the far side of a wide harbour. Slim towers of uneven height crowd together, rendered as simple blocks of colour: coral and apricot on the left, mint green, teal, charcoal, lilac and cream through the middle, with two or three taller spires breaking the line. A single dark tower stands apart on the right. Above them the sky lifts from pale blue into soft yellow-cream near the top edge.
Below the city the water is one broad, flat sweep of grey-blue, slightly cooler in the foreground and misted where it meets the buildings. Edges everywhere are soft, with the base of the skyline dissolving into haze rather than meeting a hard line. The character is calm and distant, a city seen at a quiet hour from across open water, with colour doing all the work instead of detail.
Built for a wide wall: above a long sofa, a sideboard, or a bed head in a coastal or city apartment. The chalky blues and creams sit well with pale timber, linen upholstery, grey rugs and brushed silver or black metal. Works in a home office or hallway that needs width without visual weight.
