A small white lighthouse with a glowing red lantern stands on a snow-covered rocky headland, beside a white house with a red roof outlined in strings of warm lights. A little red shed and a smaller white outbuilding sit lower on the slope. Dry winter scrub pokes through the snow on both sides.
The sky is a deep, saturated night blue with a bright full moon at left and a few thin clouds. Below, a layered rock wall of grey and brown stone drops to a calm inlet, where long exposure has smoothed the water into a soft blue surface with a pink and red reflection of the lights. Dark wet rocks fill the foreground.
