Two horses stand close together in an open paddock, photographed in warm sepia tones. The horse on the left faces right with its head turned toward the camera, showing a white blaze down the length of its face. The second horse stands side-on, neck arched and head lowered, its mane lifting along the crest of its neck.
The background is a soft blur of bare trees and dark foliage under a pale, washed-out sky. Dry, tufted grass fills the ground and fades into haze at the edges, which pulls focus onto the horses. The brown monochrome gives the photograph a quiet, vintage feel, with gentle light across their backs and shoulders.
