A broad grey and cream sky fills most of the image, with soft vertical streaks that read like rain or low mist falling toward the ground. Faint blush pink and ochre marks show through the cloud near the top corners and the centre, and a brighter patch of pale light sits just above the horizon.
Along the bottom, a low band of dark olive, slate and muted brown scrub runs across a flat marsh. A pale creek winds from the lower left toward the centre, catching the sky's light in silvery greens. Brushy, layered texture gives it the look of an abstracted landscape painting, with edges kept blurred and quiet.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
