A single tiger walks to the left across a plain cream background, built from cut and layered pieces of orange paper. The body reads as angular shapes: a blocky head with two pointed ears, a long back, a folded shoulder and four legs of slightly different lengths. A small patch of white marks the muzzle.
Black brush stripes run across each paper piece, thick on the back and shoulder and thin and tightly spaced on the hind legs. The orange shifts from deep red-orange to pale apricot, with watery mottling visible in the paper. The lower legs fade to bare white, and the tail curls upward at the right. Plenty of empty cream space surrounds the figure.
