A night photograph of the Eiffel Tower shot straight on from across the water of a fountain pool. The ironwork is lit in warm gold, with the lattice glowing brightest along the upper shaft and the arched base. A small blue-white beacon sits at the very tip.
Around the tower the sky is almost solid black, which leaves the structure standing alone in the centre of the portrait frame. At the foot, long red and white light trails from passing traffic curve through the avenue, and street lamps dot the city beyond. Dark lawn and a gleaming fountain basin fill the bottom edge.
