A large cream and soft pink lily fills the centre of this square collage, its petals flaring outward with a green stem and dark stamens at the heart. Behind it sit two translucent olive-green leaves. The warm terracotta orange background is mottled like aged paper, with faint creases and fibres showing through.
Brown silhouettes of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe anchor the lower corners. Around them are circular postmarks reading "Paris France" with dates of 4 Nov 1949 and 14 Avril 1912, a small compass rose at upper left, and coordinates written across the top. Looping script lines cross the lily, and the word "Paris" is set in large dark lettering over the lower petals.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
