A stag's head and neck are shown in side profile, facing right, as a silhouette against a clean white background. The outline holds two sets of branching antlers, with the left antler reaching up and the right one angled out to a dark, almost black tip. The shape is filled rather than outlined, so the animal reads as a solid form.
Inside the silhouette is a patchwork of small watercolour triangles in rust red, dusty pink, pale blue-grey, mustard, chocolate brown and charcoal. Each triangle shows soft pooling and edge bleed from the wash. Fine white flecks cut across the surface like scratches, adding texture. The palette stays muted and earthy, with a few brighter pink patches in the antlers and neck.
