This is a close-up illustration of peacock feathers crowding a vertical frame. Five round feather eyes sit at different points: a teal one with a dark heart-shaped centre at the top, a magenta one with a turquoise middle on the left, and a burnt orange one with a green centre on the right. Two more are cut off at the lower corners.
Fine green and olive barbs curl and loop across a warm cream background that has a faint paper grain. The eyes carry a scratchy, hatched texture that looks like crayon or dry brush, while the thin barbs are drawn in smooth, flowing lines. Colours are saturated jewel tones set against the pale ground, with a thin purple and red quill line running down the left.
