Dozens of peacock feathers fall diagonally down a tall, vertical canvas. Each feather ends in a round eye ringed in brown and gold, with a bright teal centre and a dark pupil. The fine barbs are drawn in dark green and black, and some feathers sit in tight clusters while others stand alone against the background.
The ground behind them is washed in pale cream, grey and soft blue, with thin vertical drips running from top to bottom. A deeper teal pools along the lower left and the right edge. Brush marks stay visible and the paint looks layered and scraped, so the feathers read as sharp against a loose, streaked backdrop.
