Rounded washes of hot pink, magenta, crimson and soft grey overlap across a white ground, packed loosely together so they read as a cloud of blooms seen from above. Each circle has a darker rim where the liquid pooled, and the edges blur where colours meet.
Fine black and deep red splatter is scattered over the circles, with a few dense charcoal patches near the centre and lower right. Thin pencil-like loops run beneath the colour. The white paper shows through in gaps, keeping the portrait composition light, with the heaviest colour in the middle.
