A black dog in silhouette sits upright in a red canoe, head raised and ears hanging, looking towards a small black butterfly in the upper left. The flat, solid shape of the dog stands out sharply against pale clouds and a muted teal sky. The poster-style layout is square and centred on the dog.
Large red capitals across the top read "GOOD DOG", with "Expeditions" in smaller serif type beneath it between two thin lines. The same words are written in black script along the side of the canoe, above a row of dark red triangles. A bright rainbow arcs behind the dog, and dark blue waves fill the bottom edge. A worn, speckled texture covers the whole illustration, giving it a vintage poster look.
