A black and white photograph looks straight down the timber walkway of the Brooklyn Bridge on a rainy day. A single figure in dark clothing walks away from the camera under an umbrella, small against the long boardwalk. The two Gothic arches of the stone tower sit at the centre, framed by the heavy cables running in from the top corners.
The wet planks shine like glass and carry soft reflections of the railings and the tower. Fine suspension cables fan out on both sides in thin vertical and diagonal lines, and an ornate lamp post stands on the right. The sky is a flat, pale grey, so the tones run from deep charcoal on the stone to bright white in the haze.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
