A single small pastry tart sits low in the frame, its crimped golden-brown crust filled with swirled whipped cream. One glossy red currant with a curled stem rests on top, the brightest and most saturated point in the picture. The brushwork is soft and digital, with visible strokes in the cream and a gentle shadow under the tart.
The background is a pale cream and sage wash with a dry, textured canvas look. Faded green-grey scrolling leaf patterns run up the left side, and bold red flourishes curl in from the top right corner. Across the top, "soif de" appears in gold script above "Groseille" in larger red italic lettering.
