A close, top-down view of a pond surface where a large set of ripples spreads out from a point right of centre. The water is worked in thick, curving strokes of cobalt, violet and navy, with pale cloud reflections drifting across the upper right corner. Smaller rings sit in a loose row above the main disturbance.
Fallen leaves in red, orange, cream and olive green float across the left and bottom of the frame, and a few drift into the ripples. Grey and lilac stones crowd the top left edge and show beneath the water at lower left. A deep maroon bed fills the bottom right. The brushwork is visible and impressionist in feel, with strong contrast between cool water and warm leaves.

My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
