The background is split into vertical blocks of tomato red, grass green and mustard yellow, with a speckled, worn paper texture. At top left, "ROME 1960" is set in a serif face in yellow, charcoal and cream. A slanted cream band carries "SWIMMING" in rust red capitals. Two small photos on the right show swimmers in a pool and a row of racers at the blocks, numbered 6 and 7.
