About Rusty Bicycle Wall Art Print
A square black and white photograph of an old bicycle propped against a rough stone block wall, shot from low and close so the rear wheel fills the lower left corner. A rectangular wooden delivery crate sits over the back rack, its chipped white paint carrying the script word "Moulinex" and the line "libère la femme !" in heavy black letters. A smaller enamel plate on the side reads "HAUTE 3m 4". Above it sits a sprung leather saddle, with curved handlebars and a bell catching light at the top right.
Paint flakes off the mudguard and chain case, the tyre tread is worn flat and the cobbles underneath are wet and uneven. Tones run from near black in the shadowed cobbles to bright white on the crate, with soft grain across the stonework. The character is quiet and documentary, a working street bicycle recorded exactly as it was left.
Works in a hallway, study or gentleman's room where the type on the crate can be read up close, and suits kitchens and cafe-style dining corners. Pairs with exposed brick, dark timber, leather chairs and black metal shelving, and hangs well beside other black and white photographs in a square grid.
