Five small white sails sit just below a thin horizon line, the largest in the centre with its hull catching a pale patch of light on the water. The boats are tiny against the surrounding space, so the eye settles on them first and then drifts outward across the deep blue sea.
The scene is built from soft horizontal bands with a scraped, layered texture. A dark navy sky at the top fades to cream and then to a narrow strip of burnt orange at the horizon. Below the sea, the bands warm into tan and brown, like wet sand, with a small teal mark at lower left. It reads as a contemporary abstract seascape.
